Argon laser is used for the following retinal disease s
- To prevent detachment of the retina in patients having high number of glasses or the patient has suffered retinal detachment in the other eye.
- To prevent vision loss due to diabetes and in some cases to improve visual loss due to diabetes
- To restore vision in cases suffering from a blot clot in front of the retina
- To prevent vision loss due to glaucoma caused by any vessel leakage on the retina.
