Lt Gen Ghulam Muhammad Malik (Retd)
Patron Al Mustafa Trust
Having made a start in Sep 1998 with meager resources but with clear mission and objectives, Al Mustafa Trust has come a long way in serving the poor and needy people. It now has 22 medical centres, 21 dispensaries and an impressive infra-structure all over Pakistan. No other Trust can be compared with Al Mustafa Trust in serving the people at the level of primary health care. The Trust has not been able to set up many Centres in Balochistan but with a visionary Chairman and dedicated Trustees this weakness will, Insha Allah, soon be overcome.
The ongoing Coronavirus has adversely affected the Trust’s activities, though the services have continued with reduced staff in almost all the centres. I am sure that these will be raised to previous levels once Corona is fully controlled.
I take this opportunity to congratulate the Chairman and all Trustees for their self-less performance in the cause of Allah and wish them continued success in future.
